Afghan quake-affectees still live in tents, says OCHA

OCHA says thousands of people whose houses were destroyed in recent floods and earthquake continue to live in tents in Afghanistan. Deputy Disaster Management Minister Maulvi Sharafuddin inaugurated practical work on construction of 1000 houses for earthquake affectees. The structures will cost six million dollars and technical work is being carried out by the Agency for Humanitarian and Development Assistance for Afghanistan.
