The Tikhoretsk hub is a crucial oil transshipment point in southern Russia. The attack resulted in significant damage, triggering a large-scale fire at the site.
The Ukrainian military used drones to attack an oil storage facility that is part of one of the largest oil hubs in southern Russia, in the Krasnodar region, on Thursday night, according to the Russian exile newspaper The Moscow Times, which said the facility was engulfed in flames.
In the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, the night was extremely disturbing for local residents due to a massive attack of drones. According to Censor.net, the strategic Tikhoretskaya oil base, which is an important hub of fuel logistics for the Russian army, was hit.
