According to data released on June 4th by Teikoku Databank's Okinawa branch, the number of bankruptcies among companies in Okinawa Prefecture in May (with liabilities of 10 million yen or more) was 3, a decrease of 2 from the same month last year. The total amount of liabilities was 286 million yen, a decrease of 18.3%. There was one case each in the construction, manufacturing, and service industries.
