CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OHIO, JUL 10 – Two suspects face felonious assault charges after a fight escalated into a shooting that injured a teen, with a third suspect wanted by police, officials said.
- Near the Sav-A-Lot grocery store on Noble Road, Cleveland Heights police said a 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg on July 10 before 4:30 p.m.
- Authorities said a physical altercation among a group escalated into the shooting, and with the motive still unknown, the investigation remains ongoing.
- Among those in custody, Cleveland Heights Police Department identified Jamea Marbury, 20, South Euclid resident, charged with felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon, while Jaylen Coleman, 21, Cleveland Heights resident, faced felonious assault charges, police said.
- Cleveland Heights police said two suspects are behind bars, and 18-year-old Rashaad Goins faces a warrant for felonious assault.
