Two men found dead in coastal waters at Port Stephens within space of two hours

Two men have died within two hours of each other in coastal waters at Port Stephens, north of Newcastle. Police were called to Wreck Beach near Shoal Bay at about 7:40am on Saturday, after a man failed to return from surfing. An hour and a half later in an unrelated incident, a second man's body was found floating 60 metres off shore at Swan Bay, about 60 kilometres away by car.
