Stone Harbor hires staffer to answer calls prompted by surge of parking tickets – at Avalon's request

The debut of the ParkMobile app in Stone Harbor this summer has led to a huge increase in parking ticket enforcement at the shore town, which replaced its old kiosks and meters. Neighboring Avalon, which shares a municipal court with Stone Harbor, requested that the borough hire a seasonal worker to handle the high call volumes related to the surge in parking violations at the Jersey Shore community.
