A fire broke out at a marina in Leiden on Thursday night into Friday. Eight boats moored at the marina Waardeiland on Oxford Road were damaged by the fire, says a spokesperson for the fire department. Some of the boats suffered so much damage that they partially sank. Others only had damage to the deck sail or a melted side.
