Four men arrested after £40m cocaine haul found in van in East Yorkshire village pub car park

Four men were arrested after £40 million of cocaine was discovered in a van at a village pub car park. Around 500kg of the drug was found in Lelley, East Yorkshire.
Officers believe the cocaine was transferred from a larger vessel off the Hull coast to shore via a RHIB. The boat was abandoned at Easington Beach, approximately 18 miles from where the drugs were found.
Investigating officer Alan French stated that the seizure of the cocaine would significantly impact the organized crime group behind the smuggling attempt.
